Magnolia Petroleum Company

Magnolia Petroleum Corporation was founded in 2013 by majority investors CIC Partners along with Burnett family trusts. The CIC interest is now owned by Standard Mutual Assurance Company of Houston Texas and the Burnett family interest has remained constant.

Magnolia is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, development, acquisition and production of oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas in various domestic onshore regions of the United States, with a primary focus on conventional development in the Gulf Coast and Southern regions of Texas. Magnolia’s primary growth driver has been acquisition/exploitation and prospect generation and development.

Magnolia requires operational control of all exploration, development, acquisition and production in which it holds an interest.
