Kyle Burnett

CEO | President

Kyle Burnett serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Burnett United Companies. Mr. Burnett also serves as Chairman of Burnett Petroleum Company, Magnolia Petroleum Company and Talco Oil Company.

In previous years he has served on the board of directors for Triumph Petroleum Company, Triumph Pacific Oil and Gas Company, Bagby Energy, LLC., U.S. Scientific, LLC., Leesburg Asphalt, LLC., Canada Energy Partners (TSX) and Choctaw Capital, LLC.. Mr. Burnett currently serves on the industry related board of the Dallas Wildcat Committee and has served on the boards of both the Dallas Petroleum Club and the Dallas Producers Club. Outside of the industry he has served on The University of Texas Presidents Associates, Baylor Bethesda Board of Directors, Caduceus Society Baylor Health Care System, and the Presidents Council at Dallas Theological Seminary. Mr. Burnett Received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

Kimi Dailey

Organizational Manager

Kimi Dailey joined Burnett Companies in 2018 as the Organizational Manager. Kimi has over 20 years experience in Human Resources, office management and business ownership across multiple industries. She began her career in Employee Benefits at the Fox Photo Corporation in San Antonio.

She moved to Dallas and worked for USLIFE Corporation where she was an HR business partner and managed a small team. She has worked since in management for several small businesses as well as had her own consulting firm. Kimi graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Master of Arts in Organizational Management. She is an avid tennis player and long-time Denton County Master Gardener.

James Klabzuba

Land Manager

James Klabzuba joined Burnett Companies as Land Manager in January 2022. Prior to joining our team, he worked for Fairway Resources, LLC for over ten years managing the land department. James began his career in the field as a Landman in Oklahoma and Arkansas. James’ family has been active in oil and gas for four generations and he shares their passion for the industry. He earned his BA degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma, where he began developing his large network of energy professionals.

James has continued to expand his network by being active in the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, Dallas Association of Professional Landmen and Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen, among others. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, skiing, and camping. James lives in Plano with his wife and four children.

Rodney Michael

Senior Vice President Engineering

Rodney is an energy executive with more than 20 years of experience working with both private and public oil and gas companies. He has created over $2 Billion in stakeholder value through initiatives resulting in $100 Million incremental cash flow, identified over $75 Million in operating cost / capex savings, and added 125 MMBOE proved reserves. He has been a critical member of various A&D groups resulting in $1.7 Billion in transactions primarily in the Gulf Coast Region. Prior to joining Burnett Petroleum, he worked for Kinder Morgan and Denbury as a Senior CO2 EOR Reservoir Engineer managing SACROC, Goldsmith, Heildelberg, and Brookhaven fields. He is a technical expert in conventional exploitation, reservoir management, business development, and economic evaluations.

Rodney received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering plus Math Minor from Montana Tech and his Diploma of Technology in Oil and Gas from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Eli Land

Manager of Business Integration

Eli Land joined Arcadia Operating, LLC as Senior Operations Analyst in May 2021 bringing over 20 years of experience. In 2023, he was promoted to Manager of Business Integration with increased responsibilities across the organization. Prior to joining our team, he worked for Acacia Energy Partners for two years as a Senior Operations & Regulatory Analyst. Eli began his career in the industry as an engineering technician in Tyler, Texas for XTO Energy and moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in 2011. He earned his BBA & MBA degrees in Management and Organizational Development from LeTourneau University in Longview Texas, where he began a big picture approach to analytics and workflow processes reducing intangible workflow inefficiencies that wasted time and capital.  Eli lives with his wife, Lori, and their three children in McKinney, Texas, where he is active in his church community. When Eli has down-time, he spends time woodworking with his son.
