Unitus Resource Company was created by combining the assets of Magnolia Petroleum Company, a portion of the assets of Burnett Petroleum Company and Talco Oil Company. Burnett Family interests hold a majority interest in this newly created entity. Unitus is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, development, acquisition and production of oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas in various domestic onshore regions of the United States. It has a primary focus on conventional development in the Gulf Coast, East and Southern regions of Texas. Unitus primary growth driver is acquisition/exploration, prospect generation, asset development and sustainment.
